On the 20th, Seibu Lions announced that they will hold a Japan-Taiwan exchange game, "SEIBU LIONS TAIWAN SERIES - LEGENDS GAME -," at the Taipei Dome in Taipei City, Taiwan, on February 27th and 28th next year.

The initiative was launched in response to the surge in interest in The Lions in Taiwan, triggered by the addition of outfielder An-Ko Lin to the team this season. Seibu Lions has a long history of having numerous Taiwanese players, including Kuo Tai-yuan, Hsu Ming-chieh, and Wu Nien-ting, and former player Hisanobu Watanabe also played in Taiwan. Furthermore, current manager Fumiya Nishiguchi served as a coach for the Uni-President The Lions after retiring as a player, demonstrating the deep and long-standing ties between The Lions and Taiwanese professional baseball.

On the 27th, they will play against the Uni-President The Lions, and the matchup for the 28th is still being finalized. An-Ko Lin, who joined the team from Uni-President Seibu Lions, commented through the club, "I am happy that we can play a game between Saitama Seibu Lions and the Uni-President The Lions in my hometown. It is a special feeling to be able to play in the Seibu jersey in front of the fans who have supported me all this time. First of all, I would like to focus on this season and make a solid contribution to the team's win and championship. Through this game, I hope that the charm of Saitama Seibu Lions and the fun of baseball will spread more and more throughout Taiwan. People of Taiwan, please come to Taipei Dome!"
