Lotte's Neftalí Soto infielder (37) played starting line-up as the cleanup hitter and first baseman. In his first at-bat with the leadoff in the second inning, he hit his seventh solo home run to home run Lagoon in left field off DeNA's starting right-hand pitcher Ogata.

He had just achieved his 1000th career NPB game appearance in the game against DeNA on the 13th. "Since he's a good pitcher (Ogata), I decided to be aggressive if he threw a good pitch.
