Lotte's Ryusei Miyazaki hit his first professional Home Run in the game against DeNA on the 13th.
In the 7th inning, with the score 5-15 and no outs and no runner on base, Miyazaki stepped up to the plate for the first time. He launched a 139 km/h slider thrown by Naoki Wakamatsu on a 1-ball, 1-strike into the right-center field stands where The Marines fans were waiting. This was Miyazaki's first professional Home Run, a truly memorable moment.
Miyazaki expressed his delight through the team, saying, "I didn't have many at-bats, so I went for it. Everyone was telling me to hit home run while I was getting ready behind the dugout, so I'm glad I was able to do it."
