Softbank Hawks Hawks outfielder Ukyo Shuto was substituted out of the game.
In his third at Hit by Pitch in the fifth inning with two outs and a runner on second base, he was hit by a pitch. Yoshimura's fastball struck him directly in the right calf. He started to walk to first base but limped back to the dugout with the trainer. After receiving first aid, he was able to run base running, but he was removed from defense in the sixth inning.
