In the sixth inning, Kondo led off with doble to right-center field, followed by Kurihara's timely doble to right field, marking his fourth consecutive RBI an RBI. With no outs and a runner on second, Yamamoto Yu followed with a timely single to left field.
Kurihara led the league in both home Home Run (11) and RBI (26) in May, and has maintained his good form into June.
