Fukuoka Softbank scored four runs in one go thanks to timely hits by Kensuke Kondo, Yuki Yanagita, and Yudai Yamamoto.
In the bottom of the third, trailing by one run, with hit by leadoff player Kenta Imamiya and other factors, two outs and runners on first and second, Kondo hit a timely hit to tie the game. Then, with two outs and bases loaded, Yanagida hit a two-run RBI single to take the lead, and Yu Yamamoto followed up with another RBI single, scoring four runs in one inning. He succeeded in making a comeback.
Fukuoka Softbank is on a six-game winning streak, undefeated by Hokkaido Nippon-Ham this season. On the 22nd, they scored 8 goals in 1 inning, winning 10-0 comfortably. Kondo has recorded RBI hits in three consecutive games.
