On May 1st, the "TEAM26 Day" event was held at Zozo Marine Stadium. As a guest, Masahide Kobayashi, a former Chiba Lotte Marines Lotte player nicknamed "The Breakwater of Makuhari," threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

This event is being held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the team's official fan club, "TEAM26," which was established in 2006, and to express gratitude to TEAM26 paid members and other fans who support Chiba Lotte Marines on a regular basis. Upcoming appearances include Yukifumi Okada, Yuta Omine, and Shohei Kato on Wednesday, June 10th.

"Thank you for giving me the important role of throwing out the first pitch again this year. The wind was 15 meters per second, and it felt nostalgic to feel the wind at Marine Stadium head-on after so long. It made me realize how often I used to play baseball in a place like this. My pitch speed was 108 kilometers per hour? That's the number of worldly desires, isn't it? (laughs)"
