A Q&A with Chenn Chenn!

◯How would you describe your personality in one word?
I love adventure, and I'm the type of person who works hard steadily while always maintaining a bright smile.

I love "〇〇"!
I love cats and taking pictures. My favorite sports are badminton and volleyball.

I'm not good at "〇〇"!
I have trouble waking up in the morning. I tend to get a little nervous, but I make sure to prepare thoroughly to compensate for that.

What were your childhood dreams?
To stand on a big stage and express myself. I've admired girl groups ever since I was little.

What is the most moving experience you've ever had in your life?
I kept auditioning to pursue my dream, and now I've been able to join Honey's. The moment I found out I passed, I was truly overwhelmed with emotion.

What are you grateful for in your life?
More than anything, I am grateful for my family.
Also, I once got lost at Shibuya Station and felt anxious and didn't know what to do. At that time, a Japanese person spoke to me and helped me, and I was deeply moved by the warmth of human kindness. I am grateful to everyone who has extended a helping hand when I was in trouble.

What inspired you to start dancing?
When I was in first grade of elementary school, I was very shy and didn't like being in front of people. My mother wanted me to be more cheerful and energetic, so she enrolled me in the school's dance club, and that's how it all started.

Where do you want to go most right now?
The stadium is packed. I want to perform in front of so many fans.

◯What's your phone's wallpaper?
This is a picture of the cat my parents have at home. Her name is Bubble.

What would you want to eat as your last meal?
It's family cooking. No matter what country I go to, the thing I miss most is always the taste of home.

◯What surprised you when you joined "Honeys"?
I was deeply moved by how the members supported each other and always worked hard with a positive attitude.
I was also impressed by their dedication to even the smallest details during practice. And I was really happy that some of the members could speak a little Chinese; they were so cute!

What do you find most difficult right now?
It's about being able to express my feelings well in Japanese.
I want to study more so that I can communicate naturally.

Things I'd like to learn from my seniors
I want to learn what kind of efforts and mindsets you make every day to continue to shine.

◯What were your impressions on your first day of practice?
I was very nervous, but at the same time, I was excited. I decided to do my best without forgetting my initial motivation.

What are you most looking forward to doing with this team from now on?
What I enjoy most is being able to celebrate each and every win of Fukuoka Softbank Hawks as a member of the team.

Look at this part of me!
I want you to see how I work hard every day to always present the best version of myself!

If you had to choose your walk-up music for the 2026 season, which would it be?
YOASOBI "Gunjō"

The team was formed in 1993, the year Fukuoka Dome (now MIZUHO PayPay Dome FUKUOKA) opened, and will be celebrating its 33rd anniversary in 2026. The team name "Honeys" comes from the team's official mascot, Honey Hawk.
Through a wide range of activities, including dance performances at the stadium, media appearances, PR activities through events, and various fan services, they aim to be a force that strengthens the bond between The Hawks and their fans.
In 2026, auditions were held in three locations: Fukuoka, Taipei (for the second time following last year's auditions), and Kumamoto (for the first time). Seven new members and eleven returning members (three of whom were from Taipei) were selected. The team is evolving to become more global and more deeply rooted in the local community.
