Seibu Lions tied the game with the first two runs of Shuta Tonosaki infielder.

In the fourth inning, immediately after falling behind by two runs in the third, lead-off hitter Watanabe hit doble to left-center field, and the next batter, Tonosaki, swung at a 139 km/h fastball from opposing starter Ozeki, sending the ball into the left-field stands. It was a game-tying two-run homer. When Tonosaki returned to the dugout, he erupted in joy and exchanged high-fives with his teammates. It was the team's second consecutive game with Home Run.

The team is currently on a four-game losing streak, including a draw. They have also lost five straight games against Softbank Hawks since last year.
