Seibu Lions tied the game with the first two runs of Shuta Tonosaki infielder.

In the fourth inning, immediately after falling behind by two runs in the third, lead-off hitter Watanabe hit doble to left-center field, and the next batter, Tonosaki, swung at a 139 km/h fastball from opposing starter Ozeki, sending the ball into the left-field stands.
