Before the Lotte-Softbank Hawks game, former player Naoyuki Shimizu threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Shimizu commented through the team, "I am truly grateful to have been able to participate in this opportunity as TEAM26 celebrates its 20th anniversary, and to all the fans who cheered for me from the right field stands today. I remember being encouraged by those cheers during my playing days. I would be happy if you continue to support The Marines in the future.
