Seibu Lions 's second-year left-handed pitcher, Yamato Fuji, was removed from the active roster on the 2nd.

The left-hander participated in pre-game practice that day to fine-tune his pitching. "I know that breaking ball are a clear area for improvement, so I'm determined to work on that in the minor leagues. I got hit in the first game, and although I managed to hold them closer in yesterday's game, to be honest, I felt it was tough for me. It's a lack of skill," he said, indicating that he will continue to work on himself until he returns to the first team. Manager Nishiguchi explained the reason for his removal from the roster, saying, "He can't get by with just a fastball and change-up." While he pitched as reliever in the first team, he plans to start games in the minor leagues and work on improving his breaking ball.

Joined the team from Omiya Higashi with the first place in the 24-year training draft Seibu Lions. This spring, he completed the Miyazaki-Nango camp of the first team and was promoted to control on March 24, just before the opening. In the match against Lotte (ZOZO) on the 28th, which was his first professional appearance, he could not get a single out and left the mound with 5 hit 5 runs. In the 1st and Orix Buffaloes games (Veruna D), he took the mound as the third from the 8th inning with a 4-run deficit, and avenged his humiliation with 2 hit 3 strike out runs in the 2nd inning.
