He had a great game against the Czech Republic in the WBC on February 26th, with 3 hit 5 RBI. Will he hit a big one right away in the farm team's opening game?

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' Kotaro Kiyomiya, who had been sidelined due to right elbow arthritis, made his return to action in the spring training league on the 11th. The following day, the 12th, he started as the "number 3 hitter and DH" and got hit in his first at-bat. Last season, Kiyomiya played in a career-high 138 games and achieved double-digit Home Run for the fourth consecutive year. This season, he continues to adjust his training to be in top condition for the start of the season, aiming for even greater success.

Orix Buffaloes opens their season at home. Young Hawks player Itua Ikhine is trying out in outfield.

The first game between Orix Buffaloes and Fukuoka Softbank will be held at Sugimotoshoji Buffaloes Stadium Maishima starting at 13:00.

Fourth-year college graduate Ryu Sugisawa has been hit in three consecutive games in the spring training league against Hanshin Tigers from the 10th to the 12th. Meanwhile, Fukuoka Softbank 's fourth-year high school graduate Itua Ikhine is registered infielder but is trying out outfield defense. He recorded two hit in the spring training league game on the 12th. Both players are aiming to make it to the first team and will be hoping to get off to a good start in the farm team's opening game.
