Tohoku Rakuten Eagles is currently on a three-game losing streak in the preseason, including one draw. Although they scored four runs walk-off win against Chiba Lotte Marines on the 4th, they have been scoreless in the following two games, lacking the decisive hit. In their game Hokkaido Nippon-Ham on the 11th, Fumiya Kurokawa hit a sharp line drive to second baseman in the bottom of the 9th inning to score one run, showing some fighting spirit.
