An exhibition game between Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham will be held at Shizuoka Kusanagi Stadium on March 12th at 1:00 PM.

Tohoku Rakuten Eagles is currently on a three-game losing streak in the preseason, including one draw. Although they scored four runs walk-off win against Chiba Lotte Marines on the 4th, they have been scoreless in the following two games, lacking the decisive hit. In their game Hokkaido Nippon-Ham on the 11th, Fumiya Kurokawa hit a sharp line drive to second baseman in the bottom of the 9th inning to score one run, showing some fighting spirit. The preseason games in Shizuoka will conclude on the 12th. They will be hoping to stop the losing streak with a strong offensive performance.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham player, Taiki Narama hails from Shizuoka Prefecture. In the game on the 11th, where starting line-up as the cleanup hitter and third baseman, he delivered a crucial RBI single that added to the score. Will he continue to perform well in his hometown?
