On March 4th, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win the exhibition game against Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Seibu Lions at ES CON FIELD, 2-0.
Starting pitcher Kota Tatsu showed his solid pitch throughout the first inning, allowing hit every inning. Second-string pitcher Takayuki Kato allowed runner on base, but closer the runs until the top of the eighth inning. pitcher also took mound in the top of the ninth inning, striking out all three batters with a safe pitch, ending the game 2-0. pitcher pitched shutout game relay to win the low-scoring game.
On the other hand, Saitama Seibu Lions 's starting pitcher, Yutaro Watanabe pitched well in 3 innings, hit 46 pitches pitcher allowing 1 hit, 1 Walk 4 strike out no runs, but pitcher Mitsunari Takahashi and Kaito Yoza each allowed 1 runs. The batting line recorded hit in every inning until the 8th inning, but were unable to score. Nakamitsu Yuta also recorded 3 hit.
