On May 4th, Lotte announced that they will be selling tickets with merchandise, including a set of "The Marines original Pokémon patch stickers (set of 3 types)," for the games against Orix Buffaloes on May 16th (Sat) and 17th (Sun) (both at Zozo Marine Stadium, games starting at 2:00 PM), on a first-come, first-served basis, with 12,000 tickets available each day.
The patch stickers come in a set of three original designs, featuring Pikachu in a The Marines uniform, the team's initial logo "M" with Pikachu, and Pikachu with the team's partner Pokémon, Wingull.
Whether or not you want merchandise can be selected when purchasing tickets for all seat types except the Visitor outfield Cheering Section (there is no price difference depending on whether or not you choose merchandise. This also applies to season ticket holders and Home outfield Cheering Section My Seat holders). Purchasers of tickets with merchandise will receive one set of three "The Marines Original Pokemon Patch Stickers" per ticket. For details on pick-up locations and other important information, please check the team's official website.
Additionally, the three-game series from Friday, May 15th to Sunday, May 17th will be part of the "Pokemon 30th Anniversary Special Project" to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of the video game software "Pokemon Red and Green." The 12 professional baseball teams and Pokemon will team up to hold special Pokemon-themed games at each stadium, as well as sell original merchandise featuring Pikachu wearing the team uniforms and each team's partner Pokemon, and hold special "Pokemon GO" events. Pikachu is also scheduled to be present at the special games.
