[Taipei, Taiwan, 26th - Moriguchi Nobuo] Softbank Hawks pitcher Hsu Hsu Jo-Hsi finished his homecoming appearance in his hometown with three scoreless innings.

In the first inning, he took to mound to a standing ovation from baseball fans at Taipei Dome, and his first pitch to the leadoff hitter was measured at 156 km/h. His second pitch was tied for the fastest at 158 km/h. During the Miyazaki training camp, his pitch speed was only 149 km/h, but he continued to throw pitches in the mid-150 km/h range.

He closer to retire the first inning with two grounders, a fly to the right, and a swing struck out. In the second inning, he allowed Wu Nenting, who was active in Seibu Lions from one out, to hit in the middle, but the follow-up was slashed with a right-handed fly and struck out.
