Orix Buffaloes manager Mamoru Kishida announced on the 7th that the first intrasquad game of the Miyazaki training camp, originally scheduled for the 8th, will be postponed to the 10th. The live batting practice (batting practice in a real game setting) scheduled for the same day will go ahead. The pitcher confirmed that pitcher Hiroya Miyagi, Ryuhei Sotani, and catcher Kenya Wakatsuki, who were selected to represent Japan in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) in March, will be participating. This will be Miyagi and Soya's first real game of 2012.
