
The new player chairman of Softbank Hawks this season, Ryoya Kurihara infielder led the team by working energetically on the first day of the Miyazaki camp, including a special hitting session.
"With the S group (who are in charge of the training) not here right now, it's difficult to do even simple batting practice or defense practice, so I've realized once again that we need to practice more and more in a way that will please our fans and that we can show them.We may not be flashy, but we will work hard, stay energetic, and keep working harder and harder," vowed the 29-year-old, who had his hair cut short.
