Orix Buffaloes began their training camp on February 1st at Kiyotake Sports Park in Miyazaki Prefecture. Under clear skies, the 2026 season, in which they aim to reclaim the championship title for the first time in three years, has begun. A welcome ceremony was held before practice.

The Miyazaki Prefecture and Miyazaki City Tourism Association presented gifts including Miyazaki beef and vegetable assortments. After the ceremony, both pitcher and fielder headed off to warm up.
