On the 14th, the Seibu Lions announced that pitcher Allan Winans, pitcher Emmanuel Ramírez, infielder Tyler Nevin, and outfielder Alexander Canario have returned to their home countries.

It is considered highly likely that Winans and Ramirez will leave the team.

The comments from the four players are as follows.

[pitcher Wynans]

To all The Lions fans, thank you for your unwavering support throughout the year. This was my first time living abroad, but thanks to everyone's warm support, I was able to have a very fulfilling time. My feelings of gratitude for my life in Japan and the time I spent with The Lions will never change. I also want to express my sincere thanks to my teammates and coaches. Thank you so much for fighting alongside me toward every win for the past year.

[pitcher Ramirez]

I left the team early in the season due to discomfort in my shoulder, and although I returned to the first squad after rehabilitation, I am very frustrated that I was unable to achieve the results I wanted or contribute to the team. Even under those circumstances, I am truly grateful to all the fans who sent me warm encouragement and supported me. Thank you so much for this past year.

[infielder Nevin]

It was a year where I could truly feel the team's significant growth firsthand. I am sincerely happy to have been able to play alongside the best teammates in such a wonderful environment. Next season, I will play with all my might toward even higher goals. To all the fans, thank you for your warm support throughout the year. It was truly a joy to play in front of everyone who cheered so loudly for us.

[Canario outfielder]

I am happy that the team finished in second place this year and we were able to play the Climax Series at Belluna Dome, but I am very frustrated that we lost in the Climax Series. I learned many things during my first year in Japan, making it a fulfilling year. During the off-season, I will work hard on my practice and training, and I want to achieve even better results next year than I did this year. Furthermore, I want us to compete for the championship as a team and definitely win it. Before coming to Japan, I never imagined there would be fans who would give such warm support. Your cheers were always an encouragement and gave me the energy to play. Next year, I definitely want to share the joy of winning the championship with all the fans. That is my biggest goal. Thank you so much for your support throughout the year.
