Spring baseball season is finally here. With the season starting on Friday, March 27th, players are working on improving their individual skills and teamwork at spring training camps. This is a great opportunity for fans to see the players up close.

This time, we'll be introducing information about the first-team training camp in Okinawa Prefecture, including access to the stadium and surrounding attractions.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters: Great access to popular tourist spots

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham will be holding their first-team training camp in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture from February 1st (Sun) to 24th (Tue). During this period, players will be signing autographs for those who win the "Check-in Challenge" on the official F Village app (50 people per day). There will also be a fan service area set up on the perimeter of the stadium (first base side). There are also areas where waiting is prohibited, so please follow the instructions on the team's official website and from staff.

・21st Century Forest Beach is just a 1-minute walk away...Okinawa is known for its blue ocean. The beach that stretches out before your eyes is a spectacular sight!
・Junglia Okinawa is about a 20-minute drive away... A theme park where you can experience the great outdoors, opened in July 2025. Tickets are available that allow entry from 2pm, so you can enjoy camping in the morning and then spend the afternoon at Junglia Okinawa.
・Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is about a 35-minute drive away... A 35-minute drive along the coast will take you to Okinawa's popular tourist destination. You can have a fantastical experience, as if you were in the ocean.

Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles: First appearance of "camp jersey" on sale locally

At Tohoku Rakuten Eagles 's training camp this year, the "camp cap" will be making a comeback for the first time in seven years. Camp jersey with the same design as the cap will also be available for the first time. Both will be available for pre-sale exclusively at the special merchandise store at Kin Town Baseball Stadium, so if you want to get your hands on one during spring training, be sure to head over there!

・Birria taco specialty store <SABROSO> It's about a minute's walk from Kin Town Baseball Stadium... A taco restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Mexican flavors. Located right next to Kin Town Baseball Stadium (behind the first base side), it's frequented by players from the Tohoku Rakuten Eagles, especially pitcher.
・KIN Sunrise Beach Seaside Park is about a 3-minute drive away... a long beach with a total length of about 800m! There are also photo spots on the beach, perfect for taking commemorative photos.
・Shinkaichi is about a 10-minute drive away... a downtown area near the US military base, Camp Hansen. The streets resemble a movie set, and you can experience an American and Showa-era retro atmosphere.

Chiba Lotte Marines: Second training camp held in Itoman for the fifth consecutive year

Following the first training camp in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture, which will run from February 1st (Sunday) to the 11th (Wednesday, national holiday), Chiba Lotte Marines will hold a second training camp in Itoman, Okinawa Prefecture, from February 13th (Friday) to the 23rd (Monday, national holiday). Practice games will be held against Yokohama DeNA on the 19th (Thursday) and the Hanwha The Eagles of Korea on the 22nd (Sunday).

・It's about a 10-minute walk from Itoman Roadside Station... If you want to enjoy Okinawan cuisine, this is the place! They have a wide selection of Okinawan seafood and mountain produce, including fresh sashimi. There's also a space where you can eat what you've purchased right away, which is nice.
・Ryukyu Glass Village is about a 10-minute drive away...Okinawa Prefecture's largest handmade glass workshop. You can create one-of-a-kind glasses and accessories, which are recommended as souvenirs.

If you're visiting multiple campsites...

Spring training camps are held between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, so if you're coming from afar, we recommend staying the night before. Enagic Stadium Nago (Hokkaido Nippon-Ham) and Kin Town Baseball Stadium (Tohoku Rakuten Eagles) are about a 30-minute drive apart, but if you want to take your time to see each one, try planning your schedule so that you can visit one place per day.
