On the 29th, Lotte announced that outfielder Gregory Polanco arrived in Japan yesterday.

Polanco commented through the team, "I'm happy to be back in Japan. I've recovered from my injury and am in a position to contribute to the team's victory. I'm 100% now. Last year was a difficult year for me, as I was forced to leave the season midway due to injury. This year, I have a strong desire to show my abilities and performance, prove what I can do, and how I can contribute to the team. Let's win this year. Great, powerful! I'll do my best!"

This season marks Polanco's fourth year with the Lotte Marines. In his first year with the team in 2013, he hit 26 Home Run and was named the Pacific League Home Run leader. He also hit 23 Home Run in 2014, but last season was a disappointing one, with a batting average of .201, 5 Home Run, and 13 RBI in 39 games. Expectations are high for him to bounce back this season.
