On the 27th, Lotte pitcher Naoya Masuda held a public training session at Zozo, which is currently undergoing renovations, working up a sweat by playing catch and other exercises.

With only two saves left, he is enthusiastic about achieving his 250th career save this season, saying, "I want to achieve it quickly and practice quietly.I want to work hard to achieve it as soon as possible."

The iron-armed player, who will be taking part in the team's second-division camp on Ishigaki Island from February 1st, is fully prepared, saying, "I started off really poorly last year, but I think I'm doing pretty well this year. I think I'll head to bullpen as soon as camp starts."
