
Nippon-Ham infielder Kotaro Kiyomiya (26) held a private training session in Saiki, Oita Prefecture on the 19th. He held a joint training session with Softbank Hawks 's Yanagida, Lotte's Yasuda, and DeNA's Kajiwara. The training session began at 10:00 a.m., and he worked up a sweat with running, playing catch, and infield practice.
During the lunch break, Yanagida treated everyone, including the media, to Tachibana Udon, a dish that originated in Kurume, Fukuoka. Kiyomiya Yuki's father, Katsuyuki, runs a gluten-free udon restaurant called Esoragoto in Sapporo, Hokkaido, and he didn't forget to promote it, saying, "Master Yanagida will be treating everyone to some udon, so please come and try it. Also, when you come to Hokkaido, please be sure to try the udon restaurant run by my father, which is called Esoragoto."
