Lotte's Shogo Nakamura, who is currently undergoing voluntary training in Onna Village, Kunigami District, Okinawa Prefecture, released a statement through the team on the 15th.
Shogo Nakamura commented, "Since the off-season began, I have been reviewing my small movements and incorporating various types of training, working from scratch to rebuild my body so that I can fight. I had surgery and my back is in good condition, so since December I have been moving my body and swinging a lot. I have continued to do this through my own training. I am also working hard to increase my power output. I want to compete hard and grab a position."
Nakamura had a disappointing year last season, appearing in just 20 games, his worst total since turning pro, and undergoing lumbar arthroscopic surgery at a hospital in Fukushima Prefecture on September 8th towards the end of the season. This season, he aims to become a regular again.
