On the 6th, Lotte announced that outfielder Eito Takabe had donated 1.02 million yen to the Certified NPO National Network for Supporting Children with Serious Illnesses.

His experience as a family member of a patient led him to want to support children battling cancer and their families from the time he joined the team, and he began supporting childhood cancer in December 2022. In donation activities based on his own performance, he has donated 10,000 yen for each hit. Last season, he recorded 102 hit, so he donated 1,020,000 yen.

Donations to the "National Network for Supporting Children with Incurable Illnesses" are a program aimed at families with children with incurable illnesses or disabilities. Rather than providing direct financial support to families and children, the program focuses on providing emotional care for families through interactions between families in similar circumstances, encouraging each other and providing opportunities to encourage them to live with their children.
