
On January 5th, Taro Baden (59), the new president of Orix Buffaloes Buffaloes, who took office on January 1st, held a press conference at Kyocera Dome. He introduced himself as "born in the Year of the Horse, and my name is Baden," and stated his intentions as the year of the horse. He promised, "I want to make this a strong, robust, and cool team. I want to win the league championship and become the best in Japan once again..."
In his childhood, he lived near the home of the late Yukio Nishimoto, who managed the Kintetsu and Hankyu teams. He joined Orix Buffaloes Corporation in 1990 and witnessed the moment of victory in Game 5 of the Japan Series against The Giants on October 24, 1996 (at Green Stadium Kobe). He realized that "winning is the most important thing, and it brings joy and strength to the fans and the Kansai region." ◆Taro Maden was born on June 27, 1966 in Takarazuka, Hyogo, Japan. 59 years old. After graduating from Konan University, he joined Orix Buffaloes Corporation in 1990. He has served as the Tokyo Central Branch Manager and Group Kansai Deputy Representative, and has been an executive officer since 2012. he was appointed Group Kansai Representative and President of Orix Buffaloes baseball Club Co. as of January 26.
