Chiba Lotte 's Yuki Karakawa pitcher pitched well with 3 inning runs.

Karakawa pitcher went to the mound for the first time this season as the second runner in the fourth inning. After closer the top of the fourth inning, he retired three batters with two outs in the top of the fifth, and with two outs, he doble Yuki Yanagita with a runner in scoring position, but got Hotaka Yamakawa to struck out. In the top of the sixth, back-to-back singles put runners on first and second with no outs, but he retired Tomoya Masaki on struck out, Hiroki Minei on groundouts and closer on a grounder to Ryuta Hirose, and then retired mound with 3 hit Hit by Pitch no walks strike out no runs on 46 pitches in the third inning.

Last season, he made six of his eight starts, making a full-fledged return to the starting lineup. He will continue to improve his pitch inning and aim to enter the opening rotation.
