Orix Buffaloes acquires former Rays player Bob Seymour and agrees to a contract with Perdomo for next season

Orix Buffaloes have acquired former Rays player Bob Seymour. number will be 45. The 27-year-old infielder played in 105 games for the Rays' Triple-A affiliate this season, batting .263 Home Run and 87 RBI. He made his MLB debut in mid-August, batting .205 with Home Run and five RBI in 26 games.

Tohoku Rakuten Eagles 's Yuya Fukui and Tomoki Sato appointed academy coaches

Rakuten Eagles announced that former players Yuya Fukui and Tomoki Sato will be appointed as academy coaches starting from the 2026 season. Fukui served as a coach for the Fukushima Red Hopes of the BC League until this season, while Sato played for Honda Suzuka in the amateur baseball.
