Nippon-Ham is considering introducing a scientific motion analysis system called "Sports Biomechanics" (Biomeca) to their team, Escon, starting next season. A team executive revealed on the 29th, "We're doing it in Kamagaya, so it might be possible. Timing is also a factor, but we're considering various options."

Biomechanics is a cutting-edge scientific technology that uses multiple cameras to meticulously analyze and quantify the direction of force and pitching form. The team introduced it at its minor league facility in Kamagaya, Chiba last season, and has been conducting measurements mainly on pitcher under the guidance of a dedicated analyst. During this season's autumn camp, it was temporarily introduced for the first time at Escon, and more than half of pitcher underwent measurements.

Starting next season, Coach Kaneko, who has extensive knowledge of biomechanics and other related fields, will be reassigned to the role of pitcher coordinator, circulating between the first and second teams to provide guidance. Chief Baseball Officer Kuriyama stated, "The way we're playing now is that the farm team and the first team move forward together. We're looking very far ahead and making moves accordingly," indicating that the team will be strengthened in the long term by making full use of cutting-edge technology.
