At a press conference following contract renewal negotiations, Yamaguchi announced that they had submitted their marriage registration in October of the same year. Her husband, Yamaguchi, attracted attention in August this year when he became the 15th player in history to hit Home Run in four consecutive at-bats, tying Pacific League League record.
