On the 5th, outfielder Takashi Ogino, who left the Lotte Marines at the end of this season, revealed that he is considering playing overseas in order to continue his career.

He attended the opening event of SPONOBA, an indoor sports complex that supports everything from improving the competitive abilities of top athletes to physical play for young children, along with trainer Kimura Masahiro and former The Giants manager Takahashi Yoshinobu (Sports Hochi commentator). When asked about his future plans in an interview, he said, "Nothing has been decided yet, so I can't say anything in detail. I want to stick to playing (including overseas). That would be a good experience," and is exploring various options.

He spent 16 years with Lotte. His gratitude to the team and the fans is endless. "I'm truly grateful for all the support I received over the past 16 years. Despite my many injuries, you always supported me. I'm sorry I wasn't able to show you baseball game at Marine one last time," he said.

He is currently gradually resuming training while checking his physical condition. He will be receiving guidance from Kimura in December and January next year, and is waiting for an offer. "I thought I couldn't grow any further as a player. But after I turned 30, I started trying new things and was able to grow. I'm already 40, but I can still grow from here." A speedster who thrills fans with his many plays, the goal of baseball career is still far away.
