On the 30th, the Chiba Lotte Marines announced that they have signed two players to regular contracts: Kaishu Takahashi (20), a right-handed pitcher in the second round of the developmental draft from Tokushima in the Shikoku Island League, and Ryotaro Mori-handed pitcher in his ninth year with the team. Takahashi's new number be 93, and Mori's will be 92. The team's roster has now reached the maximum limit of 70 players.

Rookie Takahashi was born in Kagawa Prefecture. After playing for Tadotsu and Tokushima in the Shikoku Island League, he joined the team last year as the second pick in the developmental draft. This season in the farm league, he made relief appearances in all 16 games, pitching 19 innings with no wins or losses, 2 saves, and ERA of 0.00. Having achieved promotion to the main roster midway through his first year, he renewed his resolve, saying, "I'm honestly happy to have reached the starting line as a professional baseball player. This isn't the finish line, but the beginning, so I will stay focused and approach my daily practice with a high level of awareness so that I can play an active role in the first team."

Mori, now in his ninth year with the team, was born in Miyazaki. He joined the team in 2017 as the second pick in the developmental draft from Miyakonojo Commercial High School. He signed a regular contract in December 2021 and recorded his first professional win on April 19, 2023, against Nippon-Ham Fighters (at Escon Stadium). However, in May 2024, he underwent ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction surgery (commonly known as Tommy John surgery) on his right elbow, and was released from the team in October of the same year, signing a developmental contract.

This season in the minor leagues, he has a record of 2 wins and 5 losses ERA 5.50 in 12 games (11 starts). "I am very happy to have been able to return to the main roster after overcoming surgery and with the support of many people. However, my goal is not just to be on the main roster, but to perform well in the first team and contribute to the team. I will not forget my gratitude and will continue to work hard every day," he vowed.
