On the 2nd, Lotte announced that four players, pitcher Ryo Sakai, pitcher Koshiro Hiroike, pitcher Yuta Ibaragi, and infielder Yuta Kaneda, visited Sakuragaoka Special Needs School as part of the activities of the social contribution project MARINES LINKS.

All 146 students from the school participated in baseball experience class, cap presentation ceremony, commemorative photo session, etc. "MARINES LINKS" is based on the desire to "LINK" everyone associated with Chiba Lotte Marines, including fans, local residents, government agencies, partner companies, and others, with a focus on The Marines players.

"Although it was a short time, we could see that the children were having fun catching ground balls and throwing the ball, and it reminded us that we want to enjoy playing baseball as well!"

▼ Ryo Sakai

"There were kids who were good at throwing and kids who had fun with smiles on their faces, so it was a great opportunity to participate. I would be happy if they came to love baseball through this experience!"
