With the deadline for free agency applications approaching on November 11th, the list of players who have declared free agency in Japan and overseas for 2025 has been announced.

◇ Tohoku Rakuten Ryuya Taira and Kosei Koga signed contracts with controlled players

The team has agreed to contracts with development players Ryuya Taira and pitcher Kosei Koga. Chiba Lotte Marines will be holding a ball game event for the "Hokushin Fish Food Education Project" at Field Force Ballpark Kashiwanoha (Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture) on Sunday, December 7th, in collaboration with official sponsor Hokushin Suisan Co., Ltd. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the front office members of Orix and The Buffaloes for coming all the way from Japan to greet me in person. As a Japanese American who grew up in Japan, it is one of the greatest honors in my life to have been selected by a Japanese professional baseball team like Orix.

I am working hard every day ground inside and outside of the office to prepare for my season at the University of Georgia, which starts in a few months. Orix I will do my best to make everyone at the University of Georgia and my fans in Japan proud of me.
