Fukuoka Softbank Kensuke Kondo player hit his 16th solo homer.
He started as the third batter left fielder. In the bottom of the fourth inning with a three-run lead, with two outs, he entered his second at-bat and, on the sixth pitch from count 2-2, swung through an inside fastball thrown by Raiku Katayama pitcher. The ball struck the middle section of the right field stand, adding an extra run.
