On December 11, Chiba Lotte Marines Shota Suzuki pitcher visited Urayasu Hospital affiliated with Juntendo University School of Medicine as part of the "MARINES LINKS" program, where they interacted with the recuperating children through baseball, presented signed baseball caps, and took commemorative photos.
pitcher Suzuki will start donation activities based on his performance from the 2025 season. We have made an effort to donate 50,000 yen for each save or 1 hold point to the "National Network for Supporting Children with Intractable Diseases", and this season we will donate 1 million yen (5 saves, 15 hold points).
This time, as part of this initiative, we visited the hospital where the pediatric ward is located. At the end of the ceremony, the children handed pitcher Suzuki a necklace made of red and green origami and a message board with the words "Thank you for today, Merry Christmas."

"I visited today with the desire to deliver energy to the children, but in reality, I received a lot of energy. The joyful smiles of each person were really impressive, and I was encouraged myself. This year has been a frustrating season, but next season I would like to play an active role in clearing up that frustration and deliver the best to the children I met today. I would like to continue to provide support and activities in various forms through baseball."
