◆Pacific League Softbank Hawks vs. Nippon-Ham (8th, Mizuho PayPay)

The Softbank Hawks took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, scoring two runs on just four pitches.

The leadoff hitter, Masaki, reached base after being Hit by Pitch on the first ball. The second hitter, Shuto, pulled the third pitch, and the ball reached the right-field stands. It was his third two-run home run, the first since the game against Lotte on August 11th (Mizuho PayPay). While they were held to one runs over seven innings by the opponent's starter, Yamazaki, acting as a closer in their previous matchup on the 1st (Es Con), they took the initiative today.
