◆ Pacific League Orix Buffaloes vs. Lotte (June 6th, Kyocera Dome Osaka)

Lotte outfielder Kota Inoue (25) appeared in the starting line-up as the number seven hitter playing left field. In his first at-bat with two outs and no runners in the second inning, he caught a fastball from Orix Buffaloes starting left-hander Soya and hit his fourth solo home run of the season into the left-field stands to take the lead.

This was the first Home Run since the game against the Rakuten Eagles on May 23rd, and the first one in the player's hometown of Osaka since transferring from the Hanshin Tigers to Lotte. 'The manager has been watching my practice sessions closely, so I entered the first at-bat prepared to produce results in my first starting line-up appearance in a while. I am glad it led to a good result and will continue to work hard,' the player said, expressing gratitude to Manager Saburo.
