◆Pacific League: Rakuten Eagles vs. Orix Buffaloes (2nd, Morioka)

Rakuten Eagles' second-round draft pick, pitcher Tatsuki Ito (Waseda University), was removed from the active roster on the 2nd.

Rookie Tatsuki Ito has appeared in three games so far, recording 2 wins, 0 losses, and a 3.46 ERA. On the previous day, the 1st, he started in the game against the Orix Buffaloes (Akita) and earned his second win, allowing 0 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings.

After the game, Manager Yoshii spoke about the right-hander's future. 'Since he is a rookie, I want to keep him to around 120 innings total between the first and second teams this season. I think he has about 20 innings left, and I want him to pitch those in the first team, but we might skip his start next week,' he explained.
