On October 30th, it was decided that Seibu Lions outfielder Takumi Kuriyama's first personal book, "Thanks a Million!", will be released.

This personal book features the main theme 'Thanks a Million!', conveying many 'thank yous' to the fans from the retired Kuriyama. Supervised by the editorial department of 'JUNON' magazine, the book allows readers to enjoy portraits of Kuriyama in various outfits and expressions, including elegant suits and The Lions blue knitwear.

Additionally, the book features an extensive interview summarizing the thoughts and beliefs cultivated over his 25-year playing career and 43 years of life. It also includes a dialogue project with teammate Manaya Nishikawa, as well as a '111 Questions and Answers' segment that offers deep insight into his private life.

Furthermore, the book features exclusive coverage following every moment of his retirement match held on August 30th. A launch event is also scheduled for November 15th in Tokorozawa, Saitama, where fans can take two-shot photos with Kuriyama using their smartphones.
