◇ Saitama Seibu Lions vs Orix Buffaloes 19th Round (19th, Belluna Dome)

Orix Buffaloes took the lead with a timely two-point doble from Kotaro Kobayashi player.

Before the opposing starter Yutaro Watanabe pitcher, the lineup had gone scoreless through five innings with 2 hit 2 Walk. However, in the top of the 6th, Ryosuke Moriwaki pitcher came in and Ryoma Nishikawa and Ryo Ota hit in succession, creating a great opportunity with two outs and runners on first and second. At that point, Kotaro Kobayashi pulled the low fork on the ninth pitch from full count, and the ball broke through third base line.

Saitama Seibu Lions requested a close call near the line, but the call was unchanged, and with this single shot, both players survived. They reacted brilliantly to the dropped ball, turning the match around 2-1.

◇ Comment from Player Kuririn
"We were behind on the second pitch, but with two outs, everyone kept it up, and we fought desperately. I'm glad they somehow got into a good spot!"
