◇Special "PR1DE SERIES" performances to be held along Seibu Lions Line in Seibu Lions

The Saitama Seibu Lions announced that they will begin a series of special events along Seibu Lions Line starting on Monday, August 17th, as part of the "PR1DE SERIES" project for player Takumi Kuriyama, who will have his retirement game on Sunday, August 30th.

From August 17th (Monday) to August 30th (Sunday), the two Saitama Seibu Lions Railway "L-train"ラッピング trains currently in operation will be completely covered in advertisements displayed inside the train, operating as the "L-train" "PR1DE EDITION". The advertisements will look back at various aspects of Kuriyama's life, from his youth when he first joined the team, to his time as captain, and his current status as a legend and role model for the club. The location of the L-train can be checked using the "Seibu Lions Line App".

On Sunday, the 30th, the day of his retirement game, the fourth-generation "L-train" "PR1DE EDITION," adorned with the "PR1DE the FINAL" symbol at its front, will be parked at platform 5 of Seibu Lions Kyujo-mae Station. The train's interior, decorated with hanging advertisements, will be open to the public.

In addition, starting Monday the 17th, PR1DE SERIES videos will be shown on digital signage utilizing the space above approximately 60 vending machines installed at stations along Seibu Lions Line. Furthermore, starting Monday the 24th, a message of gratitude from Kuriyama to his fans will appear on advertising boards inside Ikebukuro Station, which supports Kuriyama as the "Station's Favorite Lion."

During the "PR1DE SERIES" from Friday the 28th to Sunday the 30th, a giant three-sided banner will be displayed on Platform 1 of Nishi-Tokorozawa Station, and for three days only, a message from Kuriyama will be shown, in which he reflects on baseball career so far, describing the struggles and journey of his 25 years, and his determination as he heads to his final at-bat.

◇ Chiba Lotte Marines Tsuyoshi Yamasaki first home run since joining the team will be available for pre-order starting August 18th.

Chiba Lotte Marines will be taking pre-orders for merchandise commemorating Tsuyoshi Yamasaki 's first home run since joining the team, exclusively at The Marines Online Store from 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 18th to 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 30th.

On August 12, in the top of the 5th inning of the game against Fukuoka Softbank, Yamazaki hit a two-run homer to right field off Fukuoka Softbank starting pitcher Naoyuki Uwasawa, his first home run since joining the team. Commemorative merchandise includes a limited number of autographed baseballs, as well as a lineup of 25 items in total, including commemorative T-shirts and face towels.

◇ Fukuoka Softbank 's slogan for the final stages of the season is "Zenshin!" (All-out effort!). A support campaign will also be held in September.

Fukuoka Softbank Hawks have announced their slogan for the final stages of the pennant race, which begin on Friday, September 4th, as "Zenshin!" (meaning "All-out effort!"). They will be implementing various cheering events to liven up the final stages of the pennant race, when the championship race is heating up.
