Fukuoka Softbank 's Yuki Yanagita had three hit.

In his first at-bat in the bottom of the second inning with one out and no runner on base, he hit the first pitch to center field. In his second at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning, he connected with the second pitch, doble, for another single to center field. In the bottom of the sixth inning, he hit a sweet slider for a double to right-center field. He advanced to third base on a fly ball to right field by Taisei Makihara, and then scored the first run on sacrifice fly by Yudai Yamamoto.

Yanagita recorded three hit for the first time in two games since the game against Tohoku Rakuten Eagles on the 1st. He has a monthly batting average of .323 in July and is maintaining his good form in the second half of the season. The team held onto that one-run lead and secured win.
