Adam Jones (41), who recorded 282 career Major League Home Runs and played for the Orix Buffaloes in 2020 and 2021, expressed his hope for his former team's come-from-behind Climax Series appearance.

He visited Japan privately and visited Kyocera Dome. "There is still a chance. I believe that as long as they can make it to the post season (CS), all sorts of opportunities can arise. You never know what will happen in baseball," he emphasized. He is currently based in Barcelona, prioritizing time with his family, and plans to visit Japan again in November.
