The Rakuten Eagles announced on the 26th that actress Natsuki Kato, a native of Yurihonjo City, will perform the ceremonial first pitch, and singer Eiko Matsumoto, a native of Akita City, will perform the national anthem solo at the game against the Orix Buffaloes to be held at Komachi Stadium on September 1st.

On that day, the game was held as the 'Wind is Treasure! Venti Japan Night Game' of the 'Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles Tohoku Series Supported by Daito Trust Construction,' a first-team regular season game hosted in various prefectures across Tohoku.

Furthermore, to liven up the once-a-year game in Akita Prefecture, those who purchase a MyHERO towel of Tatsuki Ito, a native of Misato Town, will receive an original Tatsuki Ito trading card featuring a photo from his time with the Rakuten Eagles Junior team, among other promotions.
