Before the Lotte vs. Softbank Hawks game held at Zozo Marine Stadium on the 26th, Tenshin Nasukawa (a native of Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture) visited and performed the ceremonial first pitch.

When Nasukawa stepped onto mound, he showed off his familiar "Triceratops Fist" stance, exciting the crowd. Afterwards, he delivered a powerful pitch.

I think I was able to throw the most solid pitch I've ever done today. I'd give myself a score of 120. I think I was able to show my determination, and it was also great to be able to throw in Chiba. I could hear the crowd's voices clearly, and it felt really good. The view from the mound was amazing. It's different from the ring, but in terms of being a stage for battle, it's the same, so it was great to be able to see that view as a player. Today was a ceremonial pitch, but baseball and throwing aren't my job; fighting is. I will show my true self in the ring, so I hope you look forward to September 27th. Since it's an opponent I've lost to once before, I want to get my revenge and take the world title.
