Seibu Lions infielder Natsuo Takizawa, who had been sidelined with a right internal oblique muscle strain, returned to game action on the 26th in a farm league game against the Rakuten Eagles at Car-minique Stadium.

He started the game as the leadoff hitter and second baseman. In his first at-bat, he recorded a hit to center field and scored on the following Home Run over left field by Hasegawa.

Takizawa started as the leadoff second baseman in the game against Lotte on the 15th (Belluna Dome). He had been removed to the bench starting from the defense in the 7th inning.
