Orix Buffaloes pitcher Ren Mukunoki made his return to competitive play in a farm team practice game against Osaka University of Economics (at Sugimoto Shoji BS). The fifth-year right-hander had been removed from the active roster on the 14th due to an upper body injury and had been working to recover. He showed an excellent performance, throwing just nine pitches for one inning, allowing no hit no runs, and strike out out one batter.
