Orix Buffaloes pitcher Alen Kuri left the mound after pitching 5 1/3 innings, throwing 102 pitches and allowing 4 runs. His 9th win was put on hold.

He carried runner in the first inning but closer runs double play and other grounds, and did not let him step on second base until the fifth inning pitch However, after one out in the sixth inning and facing a consecutive Walk with runners on first and second, he gave up a two-run doble over center field by Muneyama, allowing the game to take the lead. With one out and runners on first and second, Murabayashi hit a timely doble over the left field, making it 1-3 and then leaving the game. He collapsed on the bench.

In his previous start against the Seibu Lions on the 18th (Tokyo Dome), he was caught by the Seibu Lions lineup in the 4th inning and left the mound.
